Request For Testimonials/Reviews

As we are heading into a new growing season and will be soon be lacing up our shoelaces and hitting the pavement to market our Online Farm Market, we would like to get some reviews from our current customers.

We are looking for a few honest quotes from you that we can use in our advertising. We want you to think as if you were talking to someone who is not familiar with a market like ours. What do you think would be important for them to know? What is something that you think would sway someone to become a new customer? What is something unique or special that we do? What keeps you coming back to our market? Anything you can think of…

We may identify your quote simply with your initials and town name, or they can be completely anonymous if you wish.

We greatly appreciate your help with this marketing endeavor and will credit your account with $2.00 for your response.

Thank you in advance,
Green"er" Acres Farm

Market is Re-Opened

We Are Back for Your Local Foods Needs

Thank everyone for understanding our market closing last week for our dear friend’s funeral. It was a very touching service. Some of you may have seen it on the news or in the paper. Dale Feathers was the kindest lug of a man and will be greatly missed by family, friends, community and the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company.

On a brighter note, we are back open for business and have a few changes to our market selections.

The best-selling Winter Berry cheese from Clover Creek Cheese Cellar is sold-out. But they are now offering a few select cuts of their grass-fed beef; to include Chuck Roast, London Broil, Rib Steak, Sirloin Steak, and Sirloin Tip Roast.

MeMaws Sweets & Treats have also rejoined the market with their amazing sweets such as chocolate chip cookies, apple dumplings, gobs, and pecan and pumpkin pies.

And don’t forget the other fine products we carry such as a full line of dairy and artisan cheeses, pork, chicken and beef, eggs, honey, goat’s milk soap and other bath and body products, natural homemade cleaning products, and live plants.

Market Will Be Closed Next Week

We will not be opening the market for ordering the week of Jan 21-27. A very dear friend of ours died today and the funeral arrangements will be the end of next week. We will re-open the market on January 28th. Thank you for your understanding.

Another Cold January Day

Nothing much new to report this week. Most of the same items as last week.

Please note that the very popular cheese “Cranberry Christmas” from Clover Creek Cheese Cellar has been renamed “Winter Berry”. Same cheese, just different name.

Also, we got lucky with warm temperatures last Friday, but the forecast for this coming Friday is calling for 20-30’s. If you will be ordering any plants, please make sure you will be home to receive them or let us know when you will be home that we can deliver them, in order to prevent any damage to these plants.

Market Re-Opens

We ARE Back!!

After a much deserved break for the holidays, we and our partnering farmers/producers are back to work preparing the best items just for you.

Even though we are in one of the coldest stretches of weather this season, we still have plenty of items to choose from. We have eggs, dairy, meats and much more. We are also now offering some herb plants and aloe plants.

They are also brining bck ‘Into the Woods’, another manly scent. And they have combined two of their more popular soaps (Rosemary and Spearmint)into the new Rosemary/Mint.

Rispoli’s Produce is back with us with farm fresh brown eggs and now their delicious honey. They do not use pesticides on their farm so you know the honey is wholesome. An amazing natural sweetener and shown to help those with seasonal allergies since it is local.

Green"er" Acres Farm reports that due to the extreme cold, they have removed the fresh rosemary for a short time, as they do not want to open the harvest area until it warms a bit. We still have dried herbs, elephant garlic cloves, and homemade healing salves and headache relief salves, as well as homemade cleaning products. We are also adding some potted herbs and aloe vera.

New Year, Healthy Year

New Year, Healthy Year

We will be re-opening the online market Sunday, January 7th. Your one stop shop for the best of local farm products. We look forward to serving your shopping needs.

At this time of year many of us make New Years resolutions to live healthier lives. And our market can help! All of our goods are produced and sold by local farmers/producers, guaranteeing you receive the freshest, most wholesome products possible.

With the new year, we have evaluated our expenses from 2017 and have elected to raise the membership fees to cover them, rather than charging a delivery fee. This also will bring us more in line with other online markets in the state which often charge upwards of $7-$8 per delivery. We are increasing the membership fee from $50 to $75. I will be emailing all current paying members with their current available balances and when your membership will renew. The new $75 membership will not be charged until your first order after your membership renews.

We are also still continuing our 25% Military/Veteran discount on membership and goods produced by Green"er" Acres Farm

Please keep an eye out for the emails, they will come from the email address of
