LOTS of Great Summer Produce Available This Week

We apologize for the lateness opening the market this week, but we had SO much good stuff to add this week… We finally have the All-Time summer favorites, sweet corn and tomatoes, available, and so much more. Some are in limited supplies, but will be increasing steadily as the weeks go.

Weyant Vegetable Farm

It’s finally here… Sam Weyant’s amazing bicolor sweet corn. A summer must-have. Available in half-dozen and dozen, as well as by the box (4 dozen) for canning and freezing.

Green"er" Acres Farm

New this week… the first of the seasons ripe tomatoes. Currently available Dad’s Sunset (a mild orange variety) and Paul Robeson (an old heirloom, brick-red and deep flavor). As well as a new variety of sweet pepper called Blushing Beauty which starts out ivory (the stage they are at currently), then turns pink and then red. We also now have Lunchbox Peppers, Flavorburst Peppers, Jalapenos, Ancho Peppers, Beets in 4 varieties, Red and White Salad Turnips (look similar to radishes but are sweet and crisp), Green Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Zephyr Squash (yellow with pale green blossom-ends) and cute small round “Pool Ball” series squash (great for stuffing.) As well as fresh beans (green, yellow wax, purple, and “Rattlesnake”)

All this, as well as the return of Mixed Salad Greens and Swiss Chard, and our weekly offerings of Garlic and Elephant Garlic, Celery and Celeriac, Lemon and Crystal Apple Cucumbers and Cucamelons, Green Peppers, Radish,and Fresh Herbs.

Rispoli’s Produce

New this week… extra large Green Cabbage and Dutch Flat Cabbage, Hungarian Hot Wax Peppers and Eggplant.

Kale in three varieties, Cucumbers, Red and White Potatoes, Zucchini, Candy Onions, Garlic and Farm Fresh Brown Eggs.

Cucumbers, Green Beans and Brown Eggs.

The Skirted Soldier

Lots of great varieties of hand-blended loose teas to choose from, including their newest seasonal blend… “Summer Salute,” an Orange Creme Blend.

Heritage Hills Farm

Chicken Wings, Legs, Quarters, Boneless Chicken Breasts, Whole Chickens and Chicken Carcasses, Hot Italian Sausage, Skeeter Beater, Tick Off Tick Repellent, Colloidal Silver and Soap.

Full line of baked goodness from MeMaw’s Sweets & Treats and Bake Shop Bakes to include cookies, donuts, apple dumplings, gobs, brownies, pies, cinnamon buns, and delicious homemade bread.

Lots of Dairy Goodness

A full line of dairy items from Vale Wood Farms. Raw milk, artisan cheese and beef from Clover Creek Cheese Cellar.

Goat Milk Soap and Spelt Flour
