Easy Weeknight Bowtie Pasta

Easy enough for a busy weeknight. Filling and healthy.

Serves: 5 servings

1/2 pound ground beef      View Available Products
1 tsp Italian seasoning
to taste salt
to taste pepper
2 cups fresh spinach, chopped      View Available Products
1/3 cup finely chopped onion      View Available Products
1 tsp minced garlic      View Available Products
1 jar pasta sauce (approx 24 oz)
1 cup cottage cheese      View Available Products
12 ounces pasta (cook according to package)

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat; season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  2. Add the spinach and onion and cook until spinach is wilted and onion is tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and saute for 30 more seconds.
  4. Stir in the spaghetti sauce and cottage cheese and heat through.
  5. Last, add the cooked and drained pasta.
